Harveys win Campaign of the Week!
We are extremely proud to announce that our new TV adverts recently won us Campaign of the Week in Retail Week magazine. Proving that Harveys truly understands all that goes into the sofa-buying process, our adverts show customers that appear to split into two, demonstrating the combination of head and heart that goes into the decision-making process. While one side focuses on style and quality, the other ponders price and affordability. But here at Harveys, we're confident that customers needn't forfeit one for the other in any of our product ranges. Retail Week said: ‘Buying a big-ticket item such as furniture is one of the most thought-through purchases a consumer will make and, by smartly putting the decision-making process at the centre of its ads, Harveys highlights why its product and price offer should be considered.’ In these adverts, when we state how we're giving you more for less, we really mean it!

The great extender
If you like to entertain but lack the space for a large table, then the new, slightly smaller Claremount extending table could be just the ticket. Fully extended, it can sit up to eight people – the perfect size for dinner parties. We’ve also added a sideboard, glass display unit, console table and coffee table to the range – why not pop in and take a look?
A revolution in material
Have you discovered Leathaire yet? It’s an amazing new material that looks and feels just like leather and it’s exclusive to Harveys. Find out more on our Leathaire feature – and see it pictured here on our Webster range.
Lovers of traditional-style oak furniture will be happy to hear that we’ve now extended our Keswick range. As well as our new solid oak chair, we’ve also added a Welsh dresser top. Simply put it with the sideboard to create a beautiful dresser – perfect for showing off your prized collection of crockery.
We love vintage
We just can’t get enough of 1950s and 1960s furniture. Retro, chic and easy to work into your home, these iconic pieces mix so well with other periods. Practical and stylish, we love our Piccadilly nest of tables. Click here for more heritage-inspired designs, such as our new Opal sofa range, and help us celebrate 60 years of our fabulous furniture.
Do you enjoy the finer things in life? Then you might be tempted by one of our new statement ranges – the Milazzo. It feels as premium as it looks. Handcrafted in top quality 100% genuine leather, with chrome feet and electric reclining action.
New look stores
You’ll be pleased to hear that three more of our stores are due to reopen following extensive makeovers. Get yourself down to Southend On Sea (from 22 March), Aintree or Wallsend (from 29 March) for a brand new shopping experience designed around different lifestyles. This follows the successful launch of six other concept stores back in February (see story below), which not only wowed customers with their new design, but also raised a combined £3,490 for local charities.
Interior trends for 2013 are gathering momentum, but the ones with staying power are proving to be: Nature, with a particular nod to botanical line drawings; Pioneer, with a traveller’s vibrant colour palette and inspiring use of graphic prints; and 1950s/60s bright simplicity with ice cream accent shades, which will compliment our Beat bar stools (pictured) perfectly.
